Snowboarding Lesson Three.

This morning we overslept. We overslept big time. I'm talking like two hours after the alarm first rang. There was never going to be enough time to go up Sunshine before we had to be back for work, so Danny decided to take me up to Norquay for a snowboarding lesson.

I'm not going to lie I was pretty apprehensive. One because I haven't had a lesson for over a month and I was probably going to be terrible, and two because everyone knows that it's pretty risky when couples try to teach each other to do things. It's bound to end up in an argument and never wanting to speak to each other ever again. Luckily that was not the case. I loved it!

For a start I actually managed to get off the chairlift on the first attempt, and every time after. That was an achievement in itself if you ask me! I managed to do a hell of a lot better on my toe edge, thank God; AND by the end of the day I could just about do a couple of turns down the hill. It's nothing spectacular but it was a huge step for me from the last lesson. It's always nice to end the day feeling positive about how everything went. Now I cannot wait to go for another lesson on Thursday. I'll be smashing a black run in no time...
